The bridge is the union that permit to overtake a threshold; by some points of views it's a building in its own sense, but by some others it's a continuation of a flux, a link between two shores. As two united hands or as rings that intertwine together, the concept of union and relation step on continuity and repetition. The connection between two banks needs energy and impulse; the experience to pass over needs trust. Also historical bridges, between Lunigiana e Garfagnana, or along via Francigena, are repetitions of arches, they are thin, brave, just a little bit suspended between emotion and dizziness, in the contrast between bridge thinness and river deepness.
