This structure has to express water world, it has to express the ida to passes by, crossing river flowing, and also it has to use organic forms to reveals our eco-friendly sensibility. The form of the arch is that whose better expresses our idea. A bridge doesn't take part only of its surroundings it' s also part of the landscape. Always Arno's bridges had elementary forms, better studied by formal point of view than the structural one, as the union between Gothic and Romanic architectural style that created the Reinassence one. In our old cultural tradition a bridge was a building, not only infrastructure, it was an artifact able to qualify natural scene. After a lot of decades during which they were infrastructures, probably today the bridge comes again to be a building, we mean building as individual presence, this time as design object that expresses in an elementary way its nature and its function and then, but not at the end, also is being part of specific landscape: the tuscan one.
