The development of techniques and tools in the field of analysis and preventive health along with the old buildings decay have required a new day care centre to support an increasing population.The feasibility study identify some possible alternative sites; for the more suggestive hypothesis a draft project is developed dealing with some design issues such as the rarefaction of the contemporary urban landscape and the compariosion with the strong presence of nature. Here the organism rises in one of the narrow valleys in Lunigiana, at the confluence of two torrents that cut through high wooded mountains. The comparison between the convex geometry of the mountains and the reduced spaces of the valleys, bring orthogonal geometry solids to be modified, so they are transformed into convex and then deformed conformations. The volume wants to open up to light as the mountains do to the valleys and the torrents, as the institution to people, in pursuit of a dialogue with the civil context and the landscape together..
